Eric Messinger

Assistant Managing Editor

Eric Messinger (@egmessinger) was the Assistant Managing Editor of Just Security from August 2014 – January 2015. Eric received his B.A. in 2010 from Stanford University and his J.D. in 2014 from New York University School of Law, where he was a Senior Notes Editor for the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy and a Research Associate at the Center on Law and Security. He worked in the Office of the White House Counsel in the fall of 2013 as a member of NYU’s Legislative and Regulatory Process Clinic, and will clerk for the Honorable Robert Shelby in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah. Prior to law school he interned at The Hill, the San Jose Mercury News, and The New Republic, and was the senior managing editor of The Stanford Daily.
