
John Keller
John Keller (WMHW – LinkedIn) is a guest author at Just Security. He is currently a Partner at the litigation boutique, Walden Macht Haran & Williams, focusing on election law, False Claims Act, white collar crime, national security, and commercial litigation. He previously served as the Acting Chief of the Public Integrity Section of the Department of Justice after more than ten years in the Section. He also previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney and Assistant Federal Public Defender and clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Keller is an Adjunct Professor at the Georgetown University Law Center, teaching a course on constitutional limits on election crime and public corruption enforcement.
Keller has a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, where he attended on scholarship, and a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, with honors.
