Kate Fin is a research assistant at the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security (GIWPS). She is a rising senior at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service pursuing a degree in International Politics, with minors in International Development and Turkish. Her research interests include refugee and migration issues, transitional justice, human rights, and international peacekeeping. Currently, she is working on her senior honor’s thesis on Turkish refugee policy and its effects on Syrian conflict dynamics.
