Ilya Jones (@ilyajones11) is a Regional Conflict and Security Adviser for Central Asia for Saferworld. Since January 2020, he has supported Saferworld’s regional program to achieve their goals and advises on program implementation, research, advocacy, communications and funding. Ilya has written extensively about peacebuilding and security issues in Central Asia. He holds an MSc from LSE (the London School of Economics and Political Science) and a bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College. He is also on LinkedIn.
