Lindsay Freeman

Lindsay Freeman (LinkedIn) is the Investigations Director at InterJust, where she leads an Investigations Unit that embeds OSINT specialists, digital investigators, forensic experts, and technologists alongside lawyers throughout the case-building process. An international criminal lawyer, she previously spent nearly a decade at the UC Berkeley Human Rights Center, first as Director of Technology, Law and Policy and later as Senior Director of International Accountability, where she led the team that pioneered investigations into cyber-enabled international crimes. Freeman led the drafting of the Berkeley Protocol on Digital Open Source Investigations, co-published with the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and has served in the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court and as a trial lawyer at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office.
