Anastasiya Donets

Anastasiya Donets (LinkedIn) is Head of the Legal Team for the Eastern Europe & South Caucasus Programme at the International Partnership for Human Rights (IPHR), where she leads work on criminal and human rights litigation and sanctions across the region. Her work centers on individual and corporate accountability for mass atrocities and institutional strategies for addressing human rights violations. In the context of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she focuses particularly on torture and inhumane treatment, and attacks against civilians and critical infrastructure. Anastasiya holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School and a Ph.D. in International Law from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, where she previously served as an Assistant Professor.
