Jennifer Connet (LinkedIn) is a Legal Advisor at Human Rights Activists in Iran (HRA), where she works on efforts to advance justice and accountability for violations of human rights and international law in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

She is a human rights and international humanitarian law specialist with 15 years of experience spanning humanitarian assistance and civilian protection in armed conflict, accountability for international crimes, and human rights advocacy, with a primary focus on the Middle East. Her work has included analyzing violations of international law, advising on humanitarian and human rights policy and strategy, and managing large-scale protection and emergency response programs in Syria and Iraq. She has also contributed to civil and political rights advocacy in Egypt.

Jennifer holds an LLM in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the University of Essex and a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
