Cristian González Cabrera

Cristian González Cabrera (@cristianfergo) is a Legal Fellow at the Center for Justice & Accountability (CJA), where he supports all aspects of the organization’s Alien Tort Statute and Torture Victim Protection Act litigation. Prior to joining CJA, Cristian worked at the Center for Constitutional Rights, where he focused on litigation related to U.S. militarism, LGBT persecution, and the suppression of freedom of speech in France; at Human Rights Watch, where he contributed to the organization’s first-ever report on the rights of intersex children; and at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, where he provided legal research and drafting support to several Special Procedures mandates. A former Fulbright Scholar in Germany, he received his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law in May 2017 with specializations in International & Comparative Law, and Public Interest Law & Policy, and his Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, where he majored in History and French & Francophone Studies.
