Allen Weiner

Allen S. Weiner is Senior Lecturer in Law at Stanford Law School, where he is the Director of the Stanford Program in International and Comparative Law, Director of the Stanford Humanitarian Program, and Director of the Stanford Center on International Conflict and Negotiation. Before joining the Stanford Law School faculty in 2003, he served as a career attorney in the U.S. State Department, first as an Attorney Adviser in the Office of the Legal Adviser and later as Legal Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in The Hague. He is the author, together with Duncan B. Hollis and Chimene I. Keitner, of International Law (ASPEN, 8th ed. 2023).
