Erika Sanders

Erika Sanders is a JD candidate at NYU School of Law, where she is a Staff Editor on the Journal of Law and Social Change. She spent her 1L summer as an intern at the Brennan Center for Justice. Erika graduated summa cum laude from Union College in 2021 with a B.A. in Political Science and Classics. Her honors thesis is entitled Selma to Shelby: Voter Suppression and Its Damage to Democracy. As a Seward Fellow, Erika also created an original minor in Popular Culture Studies and researched the use of Shakespearean works in contemporary music and musicals. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and received the Alvin F. Nitchman and Robert G. O’Neale Prizes. She is also on LinkedIn.
