Abdoul Aziz Sali
AbdoulAziz Sali is Coordinator of the Collectif des Étudiants Musulmans Centrafricain (CEMUC), an organization set up during the 2014 crisis by a group of young Muslim university students to combat lack of access to education and discrimination of Muslim students at the University of Bangui and within private educational institutes. The organization advocates for the right to education, and also responds to the pressing need for education by setting up community primary schools. AbdoulAziz recently completed the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program, and will in September 2017 be a Practitioner-in-Residence at Columbia Law School’s Human Rights Institute.
