Emily Rice

Emily Rice is a Project Consultant for the Truth and Accountability Program at the Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC). She previously worked at PIAC as the Project Officer for the Sri Lanka Conflict Mapping and Archive Project and the Remote Human Rights Investigations Project, co-authoring the two major reports for these initiatives. Emily has also worked at the Comisión de la Verdad in Bogotá, Colombia, where she investigated human rights violations during the Colombian civil war; as a Research Assistant at the Political Violence FieldLab, where she studied causes of interstate conflict; and as an Intern at the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Emily is currently completing a Master of International Affairs at Columbia University. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University.
