Aaron Rappaport is a Professor of Law at the University of California, Hastings College of the law. His research has touched on a range of topics, including criminal sentencing, counterterrorism, and legal theory. Prior to joining UC Hastings, he served as an Assistant Director of the National Economic Council, Counsel to the Senator Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution, and Staff attorney at the Federal Communications Committee. A graduate of Yale Law School, he clerked for the Honorable Stephen Breyer, then Chief Judge of the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
