Rebecca Plumage

Rebecca Plumage is Nakoda Aaniiih, and she is the research fellow for the NYU-Yale American Indian Sovereignty Project.

Rebecca is admitted to the bar in both Colorado and Montana and also has experience in social work and Indian Child Welfare. In law school, she was a law clerk for Greenberg Traurig and worked with a corporation in her tribal community on community and economic development projects.

Rebecca has a B.A. in Psychology from Ohio State University, an MSW from Washington University in St. Louis, and a JD from the University of Denver. She also attended the American Indian Law Center’s Pre-Law Summer Institute in 2016.
