Eric Petry (Bluesky – LinkedIn) is counsel in the Brennan Center’s Elections and Government Program, where he works to address the influence of money in politics, public corruption, and government ethics. Before joining the Brennan Center, Petry worked as an associate in the Washington, DC, office of Jenner & Block LLP. Petry graduated summa cum laude from the College of Wooster with a BA in economics and earned his JD with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was executive editor of the University of Chicago Law Review. He clerked for Judge Solomon Oliver Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
