Russell Miller

Russell Miller is the J.B. Stombock Professor of Law at the Washington & Lee University School of Law and the Head of the Max Planck Law Network.  His research and teaching focus on public law topics, especially comparative constitutional law.  He is the co-author of a leading English language treatise on German constitutional law and recently published the volume Privacy and Power: A Transatlantic Dialouge in the Shadow of the NSA Affair (Cambridge University Press).  He is a graduate of Washington State University (B.A.), Duke University (J.D./M.A.) and the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University – Frankfurt (LL.M.).  He has been a Fulbright and Schumann Fellow in Germany and was a 1999/2000 Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow to Germany.
