Tasha Manoranjan (@tdmanoranjan) is founder and serves on the Board of Directors of PEARL (People for Equality and Relief in Lanka). She is an associate with Pape, Salter, Teillet LLP, representing the rights and interests of Indigenous communities in Canada. Tasha spent over a year documenting human rights violations committed against Tamils in north-eastern Sri Lanka and remains committed to pursuing accountability for Sri Lanka’s mass atrocities.

Tasha received her B.A., magna cum laude, in Justice and Peace Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and her J.D. from Yale Law School. Tasha has published on human rights and accountability issues in Sri Lanka in the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs and Opinio Juris.
