Cal Lederer served as the Coast Guard’s Deputy Judge Advocate General in the Senior Executive Service from 2002 to 2025, following 29 years of active-duty service in the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. His Army assignments included Commandant of The Judge Advocate General’s School, staff judge advocate of an Army corps, and deputy SJA of an infantry division.
