Brian Kimari (LinkedIn) is a researcher and policy practitioner specializing in human rights, security, and governance. He is a Research Fellow and Programme Manager at the Kenya-based Centre for Human Rights and Policy Studies (CHRIPS). His research generates evidence-based insights that shape policy debates at national, regional, and international levels, while his programme work strengthens the learning and strategic engagement of civil society networks. He also represents CHRIPS as co-chair of the UN engagement workstream of the CSO Coalition on Human Rights and Counterterrorism.
