Anna Khalfaoui (@Anna_Khalfaoui) is an Associate Lawyer at Open Society Justice Initiative (OSJI) where she conducts strategic human rights litigation, working primarily on accountability for international crimes and climate justice. Prior to joining OSJI, Anna was a fellow with the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), where she supported lawyers for the civil parties in a trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity before a Congolese military tribunal. She previously worked as a consultant for the Center for Civilians in Conflict and the Human Rights Institute at Columbia Law School and as a researcher for the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.

Anna holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, a B.A. in Law from the University of Cambridge, Trinity College, and a B.A. in European Studies from King’s College London. She is qualified to practise in the State of New York and as a solicitor in England and Wales. Anna is also on LinkedIn.
