Julie Kornfeld

Julie Kornfeld is a Senior Staff Attorney at IRAP in the Legal Services Department and a visiting clinical lecturer in law at Yale Law School. Before joining IRAP, Julie was a Program and Refugee Asylum Law Fellow at the Human Rights Watch, an extern at Lawyers for Human Rights in Johannesburg, South Africa, and a Dean’s Public Interest Fellow at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Caribbean Protection Unit. Julie holds a B.S. in Social Policy, Political Science, and Global Health from Northwestern University and received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
