Jenny Domino (@jenny_domino) leads the International Commission of Jurists’ (ICJ) program on internet freedom in the Asia-Pacific and is a senior lecturer in law at the University of the Philippines. Previously, she was the ICJ’s legal adviser based in Myanmar, where she implemented programs on international accountability, freedom of expression, and minority rights. In 2017, she served as an adviser to the Philippines’ national human rights institution on the investigation of deaths linked to the Philippine “war on drugs.” She has written extensively on the mass atrocities occurring in Myanmar and the Philippines as well as on the human rights impact of content moderation in fragile contexts.
