Madison Hunke is a US Program Officer with Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC) where she engages in research and advocacy with US policymakers and lawmakers around the protection of civilians in conflict. Prior to joining CIVIC, Madison interned with the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF) and occupied programmatic roles with International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI) and IREX’s Mandela Washington Fellowship Program. Madison holds a Master’s Degree in International Security from the University of Denver Josef Korbel School of International Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and French Language & Literature from the University of Iowa.
