Brian D. Greer (@secretsandlaws) was an attorney at the CIA’s Office of General Counsel from 2010 to 2018. He served as the chief of staff to General Counsel Caroline Krass and was a member of the Senior Intelligence Service. Earlier in his career, he served as deputy chief and a line attorney in the Office of General Counsel’s Litigation Division, where his work focused on litigation and investigations involving classified information, including Espionage Act prosecutions and Freedom of Information Act cases.
