Catherine Gilfedder

Catherine Gilfedder is a solicitor advocate specializing in international law. She practices in the international arbitration group of global law firm Dentons as counsel for state and corporate clients, as well as for international NGOs and their clients in claims before a range of courts. She is a duty advocate at the UK Asylum Support Appeals Tribunal. Catherine has previously worked as a lawyer and business human rights advocate at legal action charity Reprieve, and as a secondee at Liberty.  She was an intern in the International Criminal Court’s Trial Chamber I, assisting with the early stages of the Lubanga Dyilo trial. She is a graduate of Cambridge University (first class MA in Law) and University College London (LLM in International Law, obtaining the Cheng Cheng-Nan Prize for Public International Law).
