Julian Elderfield

Julian Elderfield (@JElderfield) is a lawyer specializing in international criminal law and human rights. He worked in the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court from 2012-19. He then worked for the United Nations’ peacekeeping force in Bangui, Central African Republic, and as the Legal Advisor to the Prosecutor of the Special Criminal Court, also in Bangui. Julian is a Director at the Institute for International Legal and Advocacy Training (IILAT). He obtained a BA (with Honours) and an LLB from Bond University and an LLM (with Distinction) from London School of Economics. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland, Australia. Julian currently works as a human rights law consultant in Beirut, Lebanon.
