Keel Dietz (@KeelTheTraveler) is a PhD candidate at the Alperovitch Institute at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies where his research focuses on Chinese foreign policy and authoritarian control of the Internet. He is a long-time Myanmar policy analyst, and has previously co-authored reports on the intersection of jade mining and conflict as well as on beneficial ownership reform in Myanmar for Global Witness.
