Yonah Diamond

Yonah Diamond (LinkedIn, X) is an international human rights lawyer at the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights, specializing in atrocity prevention, accountability, and political prisoner advocacy. He’s a noted authority on genocide prevention and accountability and has led groups of multidisciplinary experts in producing three innovative reports analyzing ongoing atrocities and mobilizing responses around the world. He has spoken at international conferences and gatherings, including at Harvard University and the European Parliament’s Sakharov Fellowship Programme, and co-taught a course at McGill University’s Max Bell School of Public Policy. He’s the creator of the acclaimed podcast, the Price of Conviction and has appeared on TV, radio, and podcasts as a commentator on international justice issues a number of times, including on CNN and CTV. His work and writing has been featured in the New York Times, Just SecurityTIME MagazineWashington PostWall Street JournalThe GuardianForeign PolicyGlobe and Mail,  and Opinio Juris, among others.
