Dario Cristiani (@med_eye) is a resident Senior Fellow with the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) and a Senior Fellow with the Institute of International Affairs (IAI) working on Italian foreign policy, Mediterranean security, and global politics. Previously, he worked as a political risk consultant on Mediterranean and emerging markets, and from 2014 to 2018 he was an adjunct professor in International Affairs and Conflict Studies and director of executive training in Global Risk Analysis and Crisis Management (GRACM) at Vesalius College (VUB) in Brussels.
He received his Ph.D. in Middle East & Mediterranean Studies from King’s College London.
