Sue Biniaz

Sue Biniaz is a former Principal Deputy Special Envoy for Climate and Deputy Legal Adviser at the U.S. State Department. As the lead climate lawyer for more than 25 years, Sue played a central role in all major international climate negotiations, including the Paris Agreement. She is currently a lecturer at Yale, as well as a Fellow at the University of Chicago’s Institute for Climate and Sustainable Growth and a Diplomatic Advisor to Oceans 5.
