
Angela Avonce
Angela Avonce (LinkedIn) is an Assistant Editor – Democracy and Rule of Law at Just Security and a Research Scholar at NYU School of Law. She contributes to Just Security’s editorial work on democracy and rule of law, including managing the Litigation Tracker: Legal Challenges to Trump Administration Actions. Before joining Just Security, Angela worked as a legal intern at Lawyers Without Borders and as a paralegal at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where she focused on litigation, international litigation and arbitration, and pro bono matters. She is interested in the intersection of law and storytelling as tools to advance access to justice, promote accountability, and strengthen global governance.
Angela graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Global Affairs and a Certificate of Advanced Language Study in Mandarin Chinese.
