Anca Agachi (@AncaAgachi) is Associate Director with the Atlantic Council’s Foresight, Strategy and Risks Initiative, within the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security. Her work focuses on transatlantic security, emerging threats, stabilization operations, and foresight. Most recently, Anca worked for the European Defence Agency (EDA), in the Capability, Armament and Planning Unit, and as a United Nations Youth Delegate of Romania, where she focused extensively on implementing the UN Sustainable Development Goals.  She holds a Master in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. She is originally from Bucharest, Romania.
