Tomorrow, the House Judiciary Committee will be holding a “Hearing on International Conflicts of Law Concerning Border Data Flow and Law Enforcement Requests” — an issue I have blogged about here, here, and here.
With a potential US-UK cross-border data sharing agreement in the pipeline, this is an issue of obvious importance, and I am honored to be one of the witnesses. The other witnesses are: David Bitkower, the Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General; Microsoft’s President and Chief Legal Counsel Brad Smith, former Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff; and former Assistant Attorney General for National Security David Kris.
You can find my testimony here and after the jump.
