Call for Papers: The AALS Section on National Security Law invites abstracts for a junior-faculty-works-in-progress-program at the January 2019 Annual Meeting. Papers may concern any matter related to national security law. Papers must be still in progress (for example, papers may be accepted for publication, but with revisions still underway) as of the time of the Annual Meeting in January 2019. Abstracts must be no longer than 1,000 words. Submissions can be accepted only from those affiliated with AALS member institutions. “Junior faculty” includes faculty who have been in a teaching position full-time for seven years or less as of the submission deadline. Submit your abstract by September 15, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. E.D.T. to Professor Emily Berman and Professor Dakota Rudesill at the following email addresses: eberman@Central.uh.edu and rudesill.2@osu.edu. Junior scholars whose proposals are accepted will present their articles at the January 2019 meeting, on Thursday, January 3rd.
