Jeff Thaler is a professor at the University of Maine School of Law, where he develops and teaches courses on administrative law, energy and environmental law, and trial practice. He was a co-founder and 3rd President of the American College of Environmental Lawyers, and founder of several other educational and environmental nonprofits. For the past 10 years he also has been legal counsel for America’s only floating offshore wind projects. Jeff has been listed for his environmental and trial work in multiple editions of Chambers USA and Best Lawyers in America. Though not a native Mainer, he has lived in Maine for over 40 years.
