Alison Strongwater (@AliStrongwater) is a rising second-year law student at New York University and a scholar with the Institute of International Law and Justice. She holds a BA and MA in Government from Cornell University and an M.Litt in International Security Studies from the University of St Andrews. Prior to law school, she interned with Amnesty International and spent two years in Yunnan China with the non-profit organization, Teach for China. She is interested in Asian Security, authoritarian control, and the intersection of international law and information communication technologies.
