Nate Smith

Nate Smith is co-chair of Amnesty International USA’s Military, Security and Police Co-group – a group of volunteer experts focusing on policy and advocacy relating to the arms trade and use of force. He attended Arms Trade Treaty negotiations as an Amnesty International USA representative on the global Amnesty International delegation in both the July 2012 and March 2013 conferences. Nate holds a Master’s of Public Policy from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan, and is founder of a small consultancy working in policy, politics and data for a variety of organizations and stakeholders.
