Thomas Shannan is a 2021 J.D. candidate at Cornell Law School. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2017 with a B.S. in Child Studies and English Literature. At Cornell, Thomas is a Pro Bono Scholar and involved with the Asylum & Convention Against Torture Appellate Clinic, the Capital Punishment Clinic, the Criminal Defense Practicum, and the Child Advocacy Practicum. As Cornell Law School’s 2021-2023 Frank H.T. Rhodes Public Interest Post-Graduate Fellow, Thomas will represent children in New York family courts and work to increase appellate advocacy in juvenile delinquency proceedings.
