Senada Šelo Šabić (@SeloSabic) is a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Development and International Relations in Zagreb. Senada has over 15 years of professional experience in Western Balkans’ studies, the European Union, and migration. Senada has recent experience as a consultant on Bosnia and Herzegovina for USAID, IOM, NORAD, SIDA, and Saferworld. Senada has worked as project leader in projects facilitating engagement of citizens and relevant stakeholders on EU topics in the Western Balkans; migration, asylum and integration of migrants; and youth volunteering.

She holds a PhD in political and social sciences from the European University Institute in Florence and has two master’s degrees – in international relations from the University of Zagreb and in peace studies from the University of Notre Dame.
