Mark J. Rozell (@MarkJRozellGMU) is dean of the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University where he holds the Ruth D. and John T. Hazel Faculty Chair in Public Policy. He is author or co-author of eleven books, including Executive Privilege: Presidential Power, Secrecy and Accountability (4th edition, University Press of Kansas, 2020). He has written extensively on the presidency and separation of powers issues. Regarding executive privilege issues in particular, he has written numerous social science and law journal articles and testified before Congress.
