Dave Polatty

David Polatty is a civilian professor at the U.S. Naval War College and founder/director of the college’s Humanitarian Response Program. He is also a Captain in the U.S. Navy Reserve with over 28 years of service and he has commanded five Navy Reserve units. He is currently serving as a Visiting Scholar at Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs. Dave holds a BS from the U.S. Naval Academy, MA from the U.S. Naval War College, is a graduate of the U.S. Joint Forces Staff College, and is designated as a Joint Qualified Officer.
