Avery Plaw

Avery Plaw is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth specializing in Political Theory and International Relations with a particular focus on Strategic Studies.  He studied at the University of Toronto and McGill University and previously taught at Concordia University in Montreal and was a Visiting Scholar at New York University.  He has published a number of books, including the Drone Debate: A Primer on the U.S. use of Unmanned Aircraft Outside of Conventional Armed Conflict (Rowman and Littlefield, 2015), co-written with Matt Fricker and Carlos Colon, and Targeting Terrorists: a License to Kill? (Ashgate, 2008).
