Olivier Guiryanan (@GuiryananO) is the Executive Director at BUCOFORE, a research-action center operating in Chad and in Central and West Africa. He also is a socio-anthropologist. After 10 years of experience in conducting development studies for international organizations (including the European Union, World Bank, GIZ, Caritas Internationalis) and public institutions in Central Africa, Olivier now focuses his research interests more on the security sector. He is currently conducting research on security issues in the Sahel, in particular the impact of security cooperation on social cohesion.
