Gregor Novak
Gregor Novak (@GregorNovak) is a lawyer and legal scholar with a background in government service, international legal practice, and academia. Currently, he is an EU official working on international human rights, global affairs, and EU external relations. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Max Planck Encyclopedia of Comparative Constitutional Law.
Gregor served as an Associate Legal Officer and Judicial Fellow at the International Court of Justice, an adviser before the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, and an official in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition. Gregor was awarded a doctorate (J.S.D.) from Yale University in 2021. He received the Diploma of the Hague Academy of International Law in 2019 and holds further degrees from the Yale Law School (LL.M.) and the University of Vienna (Mag. Iur.). He is an alumnus of the Fulbright Program and the Fox International Fellowship.
