Matt Montazzoli

Matt Montazzoli is an active duty Army judge advocate. He previously served as the Regimental Judge Advocate for the Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment, including multiple deployments to Afghanistan. He entered service as a cavalry officer and served with the 82d Airborne Division, including two deployments to Iraq. He is a graduate of the Army’s Ranger, Jumpmaster, Scout Leader, and Pathfinder courses, the Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School, and the Joint Targeting School’s Collateral Damage Estimation course.

Matt is married with three daughters. He holds a LL.M from the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School at Charlottesville, Virginia; a J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law at Boulder, Colorado; and a B.A. from Marymount University at Arlington, Virginia.
