Jamie Jones Miller (@jjonesast) is the inaugural Dean and CEO of Northeastern University’s Arlington, Virginia campus operating at the intersection of security and technology. She previously served as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense. Jamie is a thirteen-year veteran of Capitol Hill where she held the roles of Chief of Staff to Congressman Robert J. Wittman (VA-01) and Legislative Director for Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04), two senior members of the House Armed Services Committee.

Jamie received a B.A. from James Madison University and is a 2018 graduate of National Defense University’s PINNACLE three-star flag and general officer course. She is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations and is a member of the Blue Star Families National Advisory Board. Jamie is the vice chair of the Leadership Council for Women in National Security. She is also on LinkedIn.
