Katherine Mann

Katherine Mann (@KatherineMann_) is a Research Analyst at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace focused on international democracy support and women’s political empowerment. She is also a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge, where she researches the relationship between armed group ideology and conflict-related sexual violence and serves as the Managing Editor of the Cambridge Review of International Affairs. She previously worked as an editor for the St Antony’s International Review and as a consultant for Over Zero, advising researchers and policymakers on best practices to mitigate political violence through civil society interventions. She received her MPhil in international relations from the University of Oxford and a dual-B.A. in International affairs and political science from the University of Georgia.
