Igor Logvinenko

Igor Logvinenko is an Associate Professor of Diplomacy and World Affairs and an affiliate of the John Parke Young Initiative on the Global Political Economy at Occidental College. His book Global Finance and Local Control: Corruption and Wealth in Contemporary Russia will be out with Cornell University Press in the fall of 2021. His research and commentary have appeared in Communist and Post-Communist StudiesDemocratizationEurope-Asia StudiesReview of International Political EconomyThe Moscow Times, and other publications. He previously held appointments at the Harriman Institute at Columbia University, the Monterey Institute for International Studies, and Wellesley College. He holds a Ph.D. in Government from Cornell University.
