Ciara Laverty

Dr. Ciara Laverty is a researcher in international law focusing on international criminal law, reproductive rights and sexual and gender-based violence. She holds a PhD and an Advanced LLM in international law from Leiden University, an MSc in international relations from the University of Edinburgh, and a BA from University College London. Currently based in The Hague, Dr. Laverty has worked as a researcher and lecturer at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies, Leiden University and previously worked at the International Committee of the Red Cross. She is also on LinkedIn.
