Ekaterina Kotrikadze (@katyakotrikadze) is the news director and anchor of TV Rain (Dozhd TV), the only independent television channel in Russia, which was forced to shut down at the beginning of March 2022 by the Russian government. Kotrikadze now lives in Europe and continues to broadcast online to audiences both inside and outside of Russia. Her popular weekly broadcast is dedicated to global affairs and international politics.

Previously, Kotrikadze was the deputy editor-in-chief of RTVI. She began her career leading independent Georgian news channel PIK. Kotrikadze was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Moscow Lomonosov State University. She is also on LinkedIn.
